Omaha Hi-Lo SplitPreviously I spoke of the top complaint Hold ‘Em players give for not playing Omaha Hi-Lo Split.

Here I will explain hands that are the best for scooping (winning the whole pot) pots.

Over twenty years ago I developed a point system that instantly tells anyone the chances of any four cards winning a part of the pot. The system was developed from a software program I wrote (yes I have a degree in computer programming) that played millions of hands. Out of those millions of hands a pattern was found. It seems that 80% of pots were won by only 20% of all the possible two-card hands.

Because of this, I was able to develop my simple point counting system that accurately reflected the percentages a hand had of winning the pot. Others have tried to copy it but my system is still by far the best and easiest to use.

I once saw a guy who was going to play in an Omaha Hi-Lo tournament for the first time. Not knowing how to play the game well, he asked me for advice. I mentioned my system and he immediately went to the gift shop and bought it. He quickly read the book and went on to win the tournament. He later told me it was the best investment he ever made.

Every Omaha hand consists of four cards. Those four cards make 6 two-card hands.  It’s like playing six Hold ‘Em hands at once. For example: A,2,3,4 gives you A-2, A-3, A-4, 2-3, 2-4, and 3-4.

To use my system all you need to know is the odds each of those hands has of winning. You add them up to get the chance you have of winning the pot. There are hands in Omaha Hi-Lo that will win over 60% of the time. The best hand in Hold ‘Em is AA and it only wins about 33% of the time. So I ask you, what would you rather play, a hand that wins 33% of the time or one that wins 60% of the time?

Once you know the percentage your hand has of winning it all comes down to mathematics. Applied properly you WILL win in the long run. For example, if your hand gets a score of 25, that means it will win some part of the pot 25% of the time. You have a 1 in 4 chance of cashing in. If there are more than four players in the pot, you simply raise since the odds are in your favor. If there are less than that, you fold as the odds are not right. Is that simple enough?

My report is titled “SECRET CARD COUNTING SYSTEM” and can be downloaded right here from this website! PokerTools.com believes so much in this report that they back it up with their complete money-back guarantee. If you don’t win enough money playing Omaha Hi-Lo to pay for this report, they’ll refund your money, no questions asked.

In addition to the count system, there is also a strategy guide included that tells you exactly what to do after the flop, after the turn, and after the river. It’s a definate must have if you want to quit chopping and scoop more pots.

If the money-back guarantee, and the ability to instantly download and use the report right now isn’t good enough, there is also an online tool you can use for playing Omaha Hi-Lo online. This tool, based on my point count system, automatically calculates your hand for you and tells you what to do with it before the flop.
