Lucky LadyAs you know skill at Hold ‘Em will only get you so far. Luck plays a big factor too.

My theory on this is that everyday you wake up with a predetermined Luck Factor. Let’s say you can rate your luck for that day on a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being the best. For our example, on this particular day your luck factor is 5.

Now all of your opponents also have their luck factor for that day. At your table are eight opponents, here are their numbers: 2, 7, 4, 8, 10, 5, 7, 6.  Now seat 5 has been running all over the table, no wonder, his luck factor is 10. Seat 1 is stuck, easy to see why also, his luck factor is 1.

Now my point here is this, if you have a 5 luck factor, you will not do well at this table as almost everyone else is luckier than you. Hence you lose that day.

Now let’s say there is another table of eight players and their luck factors are: 4, 5, 8, 1, 3, 4, 2, and 6. Since your luck factor is 5, which is better than most of these players, why not change tables? Perhaps you have done this in the past and all of a sudden you start winning. This theory explains why that happens.

Your luck factor is still the same, but you just found a table where the players are unluckier than you.. so you win. In the future, when you are losing, don’t sit there and complain. Change tables and maybe you’ll find one where you are now the luckiest person at the table.
