Hello poker players and welcome to my first post. I am the Holyman. I play fairly and honestly and I expect casinos should also run a fair and honest game.

Unfortunately I won’t be able to mention the names of casinos I believe are guilty of cheating you. Our society is too quick to post lawsuits but I hope by posting here, you will learn some of their scams and be able to watch out for them.

Secondly, casinos have the right to refuse you service and most will bar you if you cause them trouble. As much as I would love to tell you who these casinos are, sigh, I cannot. You shouldn’t bite the hand that feeds you. In other words, I like making money at these casinos and I don’t want them to cut me off. So I have to be careful.

Another thing to note.. casinos post disclaimer which allow them to take advantage of you. In ads for tournaments, they have in small print a saying something like “the casino reserves the right to change this tournament anytime they feel like it“. We will go into some of the tricks they do to screw you, but are protected under this disclaimer.

Another way they take advantage of you is with their rule book (if they have one, some casinos just make up the rules as they go along). In there you will find a disclaimer that says “irregardless of the rules, the floorman has the right to decide what is in the best interest of the game“. So eventhough the rules are on your side it’s OK for the floorman to decide whatever he wants. Many times that means if the floorman hates you, you are screwed. Or if someone else has tipped him good, he WILL rule in that players favor.
